Annual Wine & Chocolate Weekend

Stop by our tasting room on February 9th and 10th for our Wine & Chocolate Weekend, presented by the Vermont Grape and Wine Council! All over Vermont wineries will be pairing their delicious wines with local treats. We will be pairing up with the Cocoa Bean of Vermont for a special chocolate and wine pairing flight that will delight your palate just in time for Valentine’s Day!
For $10 you can enjoy 4 wines paired with 4 chocolates, with a souvenir wine glass to take home! We will be pairing:
Scuro with a Red Raspberry Truffle: A dark chocolate ganache infused with raspberry, enrobed in dark chocolate. This fruity chocolate highlights the fresh red berry notes in our Scuro, and the tannins in the chocolate marry well with the acidity of the wine.
2013 La Crescent with an Earl Grey Tea truffle: A chocolate ganache infused with earl grey tea, bergamot, and lavender, enrobed in dark chocolate. The floral and citrus components of the La Crescent match the delicate infusions of this chocolate.
Frontenac Gris Oak-Aged with a Vanilla Cupcake truffle: A smooth white chocolate ganache infused with three types of vanilla, enrobed in dark chocolate with rainbow sprinkles. The rich vanilla aspects of this chocolate enhance the rich, creamy notes in the Frontenac Gris Oak-Aged.
Marquette with a Maple Bourbon truffle: A dark chocolate ganache infused with maple and bourbon, enrobed in dark chocolate. This chocolate brings out the smooth, rich oak and dark fruit notes in our Marquette.
